Virginia PPA Convention 2018

By Saturday, February 24, 2018Events

It’s been a while since my last post, but I couldn’t contain myself after such a great photography convention last week. I had such a great time at the annual Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA) convention in Portsmouth, Virginia. I decided to enter the image competition after taking a break for a few years. Well… I was glad I did!

I’m excited to announce that two of my images earned a blue ribbon, scoring in what VPPA calls the Merit blue ribbon category (80-100). I’m glad to have received my first blue ribbons, and look forward to many more at the local VPPA, regional and national PPA image competitions. Congratulations to all the other photographers who entered images during this competition season. I still have a lot to learn about the specific art of PPA-judged competition, but I’m glad to have been recognized among so many other still imagery artists.
